Vicky Kaushal Reveals he was the Original Choice for a film opposite Shraddha Kapoor

Vicky Kaushal who recently appeared on a chat show was asked which film was offered to him that became a huge hit, the actor revealed he was the original choice for Stree. Vicky said that he was offered to be the main lead in Stree.

Rajkummar Rao played the lead in Stree opposite Shraddha Kapoor. According to recent reports, a sequel to Stree is in work and the shoot will begin next year. A source close to the development confirmed the news and told PTI that the film is currently in the scripting stage. The source said, "It will happen next year. We are working on the script. There are few ideas for Stree 2. The expectations are high on Stree 2, so the team wants to give their best shot as we are not in a hurry to make it."

The 2018 film Stree which also featured Pankaj Tripathi and Aparshakti Khurrana was commercially hit as well as critically acclaimed. 

Meanwhile, on the work front, Vicky Kaushal has some of the big projects such as Shoojit Sircar's Uddham Singh and then Karan Johar's Takht.
