Childhood sweethearts Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal got hitched in a private affair at The Mansion resort in Alibaug on Sunday, January 24. The couple exchanged their nuptial vows that saw the attendance of very few industry friends which included Karim Morani’s daughter Zoa Morani, Kunal Kohli, Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra etc.

Several reports suggested that Dhawan and Dalal family will host a wedding reception on February 2 in Mumbai, which will see film fraternity people in attendance.

However, in a recent turn of events, Varun’s actor-uncle Anil Dhawan has confirmed that there will be no wedding reception for Varun and Natasha has been planned for February 2, reported Pinkvilla.

Anil informed,

Now, according to the recent reports, Dhawans and Dalals have finally left from Alibaug and they will soon reach Mumbai. Although, the couple plans to spend some quality time together today and tomorrow before heading back to Mumbai, reported ETimes. 

The couple decided to keep their wedding an extremely private affair and a strict no-phone policy was also followed at the venue to ensure that the couple’s wedding pics don’t get leaked on social media. As a result, the staff's camera phones have been sealed at The Mansion House.

The wedding ceremonies began in on Friday with Varun’s bachelor party followed by their Mehendi, Haldi and sangeet ceremony. Owing to the current coronavirus situation around the globe, their nuptials saw the attendance of only 50 guests.
