Varun-Natasha wedding: No invitation for David Dhawan’s close friend and associate, Pahlaj Nihalani

Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal’s Wedding preparations have finally begun and the for the couple will reportedly get married on Sunday. While the family has already sent out wedding invitations for the close ones, a recent SpotboyE report suggests that David Dhawan’s friend and colleague Pahlaj Nihalani revealed that he hasn’t been invited. 

For the unversed, the producer has collaborated with Dhawan on several occasions and the duo has dished blockbusters for the audience. The two were seen uniting for films including Shola Aur Shabnam and Aankhen. They have been close friends and associates for over 40 years.

During his interaction with SpotboyE, the producer also mentioned that he wasn’t invited to David Dhawan’s elder son Rohit’s wedding either. 

Nihalani said, 

I’ve received no invitation. I haven’t even been told about the wedding. I’m only hearing about it from others and in the press. At that time also we weren’t working together. I wasn’t invited to Rohit’s wedding. There was just one phone call from their family a day before the wedding.

The Andaz producer was also quizzed if he would attend the wedding if he was invited at  the last minute, to which Nihalani asserted, 

I don’t think I will, so the question doesn’t arise. I wish the couple all the best. I’ve watched Varun grow up in front of me. His success makes me proud.
