Varun Dhawan-Sara Ali Khan’s first look from Coolie no. 1 Out now!

Ever since the remake of Coolie No. 1 was announced, fans have been excited for the venture. Not only are they eager to watch the movie, but are also anticipated to see how Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan, who will be sharing the screen-space for the first time, will perform. 

It’s been a week since the David Dhawan directorial has gone on floors in Bangkok, and the lead pair is already making headlines from Sara’s boomerang of starting the shoot to the viral videos of the Mahurat shot that was flagged off by Varun’s mother.

Yesterday, Sara and Varun took to their official social media handles and shared the first teaser poster of the movie. The video featured Varun, though his face was hidden behind a bundle of bags and Sara’s voice was heard in the background.

Now, the makers have released the official first posters of Coolie No. 1, and surely the pair looks promising. 

The first individual poster of Varun Dhawan showcases his dressed in the iconic Coolie uniform, Red Shirt, white pants, a gamchha and Kolhapuri Chappals. 

While the main poster consists of Sara and Varun in an embrace, the poster demonstrates the perfect amount of glam and quirk.

Sharing the posters on their official social media handle, the makers wrote, “Coolie No. 1 @varundvn @saraalikhan95 Releasing on 1st May 2020 !”

Coolie No 1 is a remake of Govinda and Karisma Kapoor starrer 1995 comedy film that surely is audience favourite till date. According to recent reports, Paresh Rawal will be seen reprising late Kader Khan’s role in the film. In the original film, late Kader Khan was seen as Hoshiyaar Chand, Karisma’s father.

Coolie No 1 is being produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh. Penned by Farhad Samji, Coolie No 1 is slated to release on May 1, 2020.
