Varun Dhawan’s next film will be the remake of Atlee’s film?

Varun Dhawan's next movie with Nitesh Tiwari will begin filming soon, but reports have it that the actor is also in talks with South director Atlee. According to sources with knowledge of the issue, "Varun met Atlee, and the two are planning to work together on a Hindi adaptation of a South film. There is a chance that the film will be 'Theri,' starring Vijay and Samantha." 

There were rumours about two years ago that Varun Dhawan had been asked to remake Atlee's flick. As a result of this situation, it looks like the remake of 'Theri' will proceed. Atlee is currently working with Shah Rukh Khan and, if everything goes well, he will return to work on the Varun Dhawan-starrer adaptation.

Varun Dhawan is now working on two projects in addition to Nitesh Tiwari's feature film: 'Bhediya' and 'Jug Jugg Jeeyo.' Atlee has reportedly stated that if he is available after finishing his Shah Rukh Khan film, he will work on Varun's film.
