Varun Dhawan’s Maasi No More, Actor Grieves in Heartbreaking Post

Actor Varun Dhawan lost his beloved maasi and mourned her death in a heartbreaking post on Instagram. He shared a photo of himself and his maasi and penned his last few words as a tribute to his aunt, followed by Gayatri mantra. He wrote “Love you, maasi. RIP."

The news of the sudden demise of VD's aunt has left the actor's friends and co-stars in shock. Soon, Varun’s co-stars and colleagues from the industry like Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Sophie Choudry, Sonal Chauhan and Punit Malhotra expressed grief in the comments section. 

Sonam wrote: "Omg. I'm so sorry, Varun Dhawan" whereas Sophie commented: "So sorry for your loss, Varun Dhawan. Love and prayers to the family. May her soul rest in peace."

 Sonal Chauhan wrote: "So sorry for your loss, Varun. May her soul rest in peace."

The reason behind her sudden demise is yet to be known. We pray for her departed soul and extend our warm condolences to the Dhawan family...

On the work front, Varun will be seen in David Dhawan’s 'Coolie No 1' opposite Sara Ali Khan. The film was supposed to release in May 2020 but due to the coronavirus outburst, the release of the film has been postponed.
