Varun Dhawan starrer Jug Jugg Jeeyo is all set for its big theatrical release on 24th June. The team is currently doing everything to promote the film and fans can't wait to witness this family drama transpire on the big screens. This film has an ensemble cast of Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Maneish Paul and Prajakta Koli.
In a recent Interview with Cosmopolitan, the Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya actor talked about his career choices and his approach towards it. He went on to say that he isn't playing the smart aleck with a hundred one-liners and body-hugging attire, and that he drew inspiration for JugJugg Jeeyo from his real life. He did, however, admit that Bhediya's preparation included a lot of time spent with dogs.
“I have not made easy choices, especially in the two films I am doing right now.”
Meanwhile, a report hinted towards JugJugg Jeeyo's narrative. It's a tale of two couples from successive generations, entwined around post-marriage concerns. The premise effortlessly straddles the generation gap and offers a unique perspective on love, all while providing a sense of humour. Jug Jugg Jeeyo is more about households and the love that exists between a married son and his father and mother, who are played by Anil and Neetu.
Recently the makers released the first song of the film titled 'The Punjaabaan Song' and it has been making a buzz all over social media. Many celebs have also been taking up the challenge and grooving their bodies on to the tune.
The comedy-drama film is backed by Viacom18 Studios and Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta under Dharma Productions. It is helmed by Raj Mehta, who also produced Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan's 2019 successful film, Good Newwz. The film will be released in theatres on June 24, 2022.
