Vaani Kapoor says she wants filmmakers to approach her for challenging roles

Vaani Kapoor has been riding high on the success of her most recent project, 'Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui,' for which she received a lot of love and praise for her performance. 

She wants filmmakers to approach her for challenging roles now that she has proved her mettle as an actor. Vaani told a news portal that she has always wanted to gain their trust and be a part of interesting cinematic visions of powerful filmmakers. 

Vaani went on to say that she will do everything she can to play any character she is approached to play on screen. The best part of their job, she says, is that they get to play so many different characters and live so many different lives. The actress went on to say that she wants her career in film to be filled with a variety of films, genres, and characters that light up the screen and entertain audiences.

Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is directed by Abhishek Kapoor, starred Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role. The film was well received by both the audience and the critics. 

Meanwhile, Vaani will next be seen in 'Shamshera,' in which she will co-star none other than Ranbir Kapoor. Sanjay Dutt will also play an important role in the film.
