Urvashi Rautela on Boney Kapoor Slapping her Butt: It was a Great Gesture

A few months ago, a controversial video of actress Urvashi Rautela and producer Boney Kapoor went viral after which the latter was slammed for his inappropriate gesture that got caught by the cameras. In the video that was taken at Jayantilal Gada’s son’s wedding, Boney and Urvashi can be seen posing together for the media and while sliding his hand on her waist, he happened to have tapped Urvashi's butt.

This gesture didn't go down well by the netizens who mercilessly slammed Boney for getting too close to Urvashi and touching her inappropriately. Worried with all the hatred coming towards the filmmaker, back then Urvashi had stepped up and come out in support of Boney and also slammed those who trolled him.

Now, in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Urvashi has narrated the whole incident and revealed that it was just a "great gesture" by Boney and that it was blown out of proportion. When she was asked about the funniest or weirdest rumor she has heard about yourself, Urvashi said, “I would say the Boney Kapoor incident, that was really funny. Because it was blown out of proportion, it was nothing like that. Everywhere, the video went viral overnight. But there was nothing like that. We were supposed to work on a project. I was supposed to work on a film which he is doing with superstar Ajith. It was a Tamil film which I couldn’t do because of my movie dates. So I knew him already. But because I couldn’t do a movie with him, that doesn’t mean I don’t have a relationship with him,” said Urvashi.

Further, she went on and called it a “great gesture” by Boney Kapoor. “So it was a great gesture. Like I just entered the party, he was also there and the person who was getting married was also there. So we were just clicking picture. And I don’t know if the photography or the angle, the way they captured, it was so weird. So then it went on to become such a big thing. My phone was ringing non-stop for 7 days, because it became such a big thing” added the actress.

When she was further quizzed if she spoke to Boney Kapoor after the incident, Urvashi said, "Yes, yes of course I spoke to Boneyji but you know it gets very... people don't know what actually happened and then they ask you such weird questions and you don't know what to answer. But, I think, I am sure it was awkward for him," concluded Urvashi.
