Twinkle SLAMS Naseeruddin for calling father 'POOR ACTOR'

Rajesh khanna was an amazing actor if not genius with lot of charisma ! He was an india's first superstar. His dialogue delivery was un beatable.
His personal life has nothing to do with his acting abilities. To call his acting mediocre is an insult to the actor. Aanand, amar prem , aavishkar , namak haram etc were proof that he could act !
Nasiruddin shah is a great actor and very natural actor. It is sad to hear such thing to get attention. He said about amitabh bachchan too who is legend.
Twinkle khanna may have over reacted but that's daughter who comes out when you hear things about father.

i would tell twinkle Khana to not pay attention to such things. Rajesh Khana is a legend and will remain so in his fans hearts.

Stardom is not directly proportional to acting skills.. this is true.. there is nothing wring to be famous and rich without having talent .. luck shines and after all people pay to watch their movies.. perhaps Naseer could have just avoided the name.. there are many such cases years after years ..

Rajesh khanna was very successful actor of his time but was not a great artist. I can not say that he was a good actor. I agree with with mr shah here and that his opinion by saying this he did not disrespect Rajesh khanna by any means. Daughter came to late father's rescue for wrong reasons

Twinkle is being ultra sensitive, It appears Naseeruddin Shah was talking from a historical perspective about the 1970s. Yes, Rajesh Khanna was mediocre - by stating so he was not disrespecting Rajesh Khanna!

Rajesh Khanna is living through his superhit movies and superhit songs he lipsynchronised. He is an evergreen star whose films still make me feel happy and nostalgic. I dont care what type of person he was in real life. I think Naseer is jealous of Khanna's success and for him it is easy to attack Khanna, a soft target. Dont compare a one note actor like Salman to Rajesh Khanna. Salman depends on his muscles and cultivated and manipulated releases like Eid which Rajesh Khanna never resorted to. His films were hit on any day during his heydays. Rajesh remains the ultimate romantic star. Naseer, concentrate on doing something better than giving out sensational statements to keep yourself in news and chuckling. Do you have guts to criticise a Dilip Kumar or a Dev Anand?

Naseeruddin Shah gave his opinion about Rajesh Khanna's acting. What's so wrong about that? People criticize the works of artists even after their death, there's nothing new in that. Being a super star is one thing and being a good actor is another thing. Salma Khan is a super star but he is a very limited actor. Similarly, Nawazuddin Siddiqui isn't a superstar but he's one of the finest actors India has ever produced.

I loved him in Hrishikesh Mukherjee's 'Anand' but when the same Mukherjee did Hindi remake of Tapan Sinha's iconic 'Golpo Holeo Sotti' (Baburchi in Hindi) he simply failed to match Rabi Ghosh who played the protagonist in the original .. so, probably he was a imited actor, but not exactly a poor actor I would say.

Anyway, the fact that he was the first superstar doesn't really have anything to do with his acting. Salman Khan is a huge star but that dosn't make him a good actor, right.
