Twinkle Khanna was Arrested for Unzipping Akshay Kumar's Jeans at an Event; Throwback

Bollywood celebrities and controversies go hand in hand. Akshay Kumar and wife Twinkle Khanna had invited trouble back in 2009 for an alleged ‘obscene’ behaviour at a public event.

Here’s what went down…

It was in 2009 when Akshay Kumar was walking down the ramp with others at Lakme Fashion show. Amongst the huge crowd of fans, his wife Twinkle too was present to cheer him up. On seeing his wife amid the crowd, Akki went up to her. However, what happened next will shock and surprise you!

Twinkle was surprised to see her husband approach her between the walk and Akshay urged her to unbutton his jeans. Yes, you heard that right! At first, Twinkle was hesitant but after the crowd started cheering up, she gave in and unzipped the Kesari actor’s jeans. The video of this act had gone viral and created a storm on the Internet.

However, this public act was found to be disturbing and obscene by many people and in fact, a social activist filed a complaint against the couple. Akshay and Twinkle were arrested by the police too. While Akshay walked away with a clean chit, his wife was fined Rs.500. They were out on bail within a few hours. The couple later apologized for their behaviour.
