Twinkle Khanna raises Rs 92 lakh with her campaign to get oxygen concentrators and help Indian hospitals!

India is struggling to survive amid the novel coronavirus pandemic and many people are helping each other on an individual level. From gathering information about oxygen cylinders and vacant hospital beds to providing food to Covid patients, we have been hearing stories of empathy and compassion from across the city. 

Meanwhile, apart from donating money, celebrities are using their social media to help the people amplify Covid requests and resources. 

Twinkle Khanna is trying to help Covid-19 patients amid the current health pandemic due to the novel coronavirus. Now, according to her latest post she has raised over Rs 92 lakh to procure oxygen concentrators and necessary medical supplies to channel them to hospitals across the country.

The actor turned author took to her social media handle to announce the same and express her gratitude towards the people who donated to her campaign.

“With your help, we have raised more than Rs 92 lakh to get oxygen concentrators to Indian hospitals (sic)”, Twinkle wrote in her latest Instagram story.

Previously, Twinkle had shared that she and her husband Akshay Kumar donated 100 oxygen concentrators. The Baadshah actress maintained that she was in a ‘bit of a hole’ due to her family's ill health but ‘couldn’t stay there for long’. She urged everyone to come forward and help in whatever way they can.
