TV actress Charu Asopa to MARRY Sushmita Sen’s brother on THIS date!

TV actress Charu Asopa, who is best known for playing the role of ‘Preeti’ in popular Star Plus show ‘Mere Angne Mein’, is in a steady relationship with Sushmita Sen’s brother Rajeev Sen. Few days ago, Sushmita Sen took to her Instagram account and shared that the couple is set to tie the knot as Rajeev proposed Charu for marriage and she said ‘yes’. 

Now, the couple’s wedding date is out too.

After dating each other for five months, the much-in-love couple is set to get married on 16th June in a destination wedding in Goa. Rajeev and Charu’s wedding will be an intimate affair with just 20-25 people from their families in attendance. The couple’s haldi, mehendi and sangeet ceremonies will also take place in Goa before their marriage.

Before tying the knot, the couple will get engaged on 14th June. Confirming the same, Charu further told Bombay Times that, “I have always dreamt of having a white wedding. So, we plan to have a Christian-themed engagement and I will wear a white gown for it. The idea is to start with white as the colour stands for peace and purity – and then add colours to our functions and costumes, with us in red on our wedding day. While the pheras will happen according to Rajasthani and Bengali rituals (Charu is a Rajasthani and Rajeev is a Bengali), the theme for the wedding will be royal Rajasthani. I am in shopping mode now. I haven’t taken up any new project, as I want to spend time with Rajeev after marriage.”

After getting married, Charu and Rajeev will host a reception in Mumbai for their families and friends.
