Actor Tushar Rungta, who made his acting debut with Bhabiji Ghar par hai, has also been seen in different character roles for projects like Happu ki Ultan Paltan, Jijaji Chatt par hai, and Excuse me, Madam. He is all set to be seen in Chattis Aur Maina that has released today on Hotstar.
How has your journey in the industry been so far?
have made my debut with Bhabiji Ghar par hai and the director liked it so he got me another character role in the same production house called as Happu ki Ultan Paltan and then I moved on doing one or two episodes for Jijaji Chatt par hai. Further, I have grabbed a role of a policeman in Excuse me Madam. Now I am playing a good character in the show Chattis Aur Maina.
Tell us about your role in the show.
In Chattis Aur Maina, I am playing the role of a vegetable vendor who is jolly and full of life. Some stories in the show have originated in the vendor's shop. My character is someone who whenever appears on-screen lightens up the mood. I have tried my best to portray my character with the utmost precision.
Did you need any kind of special preparation for the show?
There was no special preparation, it was all based on improvisation. I knew what the character would be thinking in a particular situation and whenever you watch the show, you will see the subtext in the text itself".
Tell us about the show.
The show is based on three female dancers. Their stories originate in a village where they fall in love with other persons and then how their story shapes up further. It's an amazing story with lots of twists and turns. the audience will surely enjoy the amazing character in the show.
Tushar added how he is very excited about the show as this project has given him the freedom to improvise and enhance his craft. He has thanked his director for giving him a small but interesting character and making him a part of the show.
