#TuesdayTrivia:Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's Shehzad Shaikh was an international player in his school

Tuesday is here and we are back with our weekly dose of trivia that you have been eagerly waiting for. After Jennifer Winget, Sanaya Irani, Harshad Chopda, Karan Wahi, Disha Vakani and others, this week, we are going to give you a trivia about Shehzad Shaikh. The actor who started off with Savdhaan India, became a household name for his role of Rehaan Imraan Qureshi in Zee TV's Qubool Hain is currently starring in Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. While many of you know that the actor after his birth in Ahmedabad, Gujrat shifted to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, many don't know that there he was an international player.

Sharing about it, Shehzad told us, "I was born in India and raised in Saudi Arabia in a city called Jeddah. In every part of the world where there is an Indian Embassy there exists an International Indian School built for most Indian families living outside. My school had 8000 boys and 6000 girls. I represented my city and school for badminton, basketball and football. To be part of the school team that represents that number of students was an honour then and the tradition is carried out till day." He further added, "All the International schools around the world of CBSE board battled it out abroad and then the finals were always held in India. I did it 4 years in a row."

Sharing about his learning from it, the Bepannaah actor revealed, "Till date, I count it as my first lessons learnt in teamwork, competition, pride and most importantly unity."

Well, this is indeed interesting. We are sure if Shehzad wouldn't have chosen a career in acting then he would have been into sports.
