TRP Toppers: 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' makes a return; Top 3 remains the same

We are back with TRP Thursday and not much to look forward to as proceedings in the top half of this Top 5 continue to remain unsurprising. But there is one change noticeable enough to look at, so let's roll with it.

Making a return to the list this week after a while is Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The Star Plus show has performed well lately and it reflects in umbers as it fetches 3.0 points and gets the 5th spot.

Kundali Bhagya's downward spiral was concerning but only because of the fall in spot as it has been consistent with its numbers. The show has once again grabbed a good 3.2 points and hence goes one spot up to the 3rd spot.

Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin continues to perform really well and it is no surprise at all that the show is consistent on the 3rd spot grabbing an amazing 3.3 points.

Just like Ghum Hai Kisikey..., Imlie has also been amazingly consistent with its position and numbers at 2nd spot and 3.4 points.

Anupamaa is totally above all the assumptions of numbers and changes as it still tops and does so blisteringly well grabbing 4.2 points.

Anupama is dignified show. No cringy romance, no planning no murder shown and more over no baat baat pe romance . Otherwise khuch serial mein baat baat mein to itna romance dikhate hain that there is question kya real life itna romance possible when any has so much responbillty at home
Anupama mein jyaada romance nahin dikhtate kyonki real family ko re presentation kar raha hai aur realty mein family mein baat baat romance nahin hota sabke paas responbillty hoti hai

Star Plus is doing well and I’m happy for it. Only issue that I have is that slot arrangement is pathetic. SNS2 with typical saas-bahu-saazish-shadyantra elements belongs to 7pm category. Anupama with its prime time elements and ratings suits 9pm slot. Pandya Store is a family value based show so it’s an insult to waste that show at 11pm slot and I feel it deserves 10pm slot. Shaurya Anokhi is cool, but since it’s not raking in big numbers it can be shifted to 6pm.

And anyways I’m super duper excited for “Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha” as the musical tune in the promo is too majestic and I totally loved that tune. Heroine choice is a little dumb and they could have chosen a prettier girl opposite Vijendra Kumeria but chalo whatever. The girl who played the lead in Yeh Jaadu Hai Jinn Ka is really pretty or may be they could have cast the lead girl of Internet Wala Love I forgot what her name is. And my last statement is that I’m happy for all the 5 shows listed here.
