TRP Toppers: Third consecutive week with no changes in the positions

TRPs have been rather developmental in all the other shows on all the other channels but not in the Top 5. It has been over three weeks now and the positioning of all these major shows in the Top 5 have remain unchanged where this week is no different. Nevertheless, let's have a look at the same time this week-

5. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

After making a re-entry into the list, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has managed to sustain enough to stay on the 5th spot. Why is it all the more important? Because the new chapter of the longrunner commencing with a new cast, the show started really well and sustained those numbers this week as well with 2.6 points, which is a rise from last week in terms of numbers.

4. Imlie

Imlie's topsy-turvy ride on the list continues as the show went on to grab a rather falling 2.7 points. This led the show's drop to be on the 4th spot three weeks ago but it has now managed to stay on the 4th spot.

3. Udaariyaan

Udariyaan's topsy-turvy ride has actually been a rather fun one. The show continues its impressive stint in the ratings as the show grabbed an amazing 2.7 points and rose to get the 3rd spot last week which it managed to sustain.

2. Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin

Nothing has changed in the top half of Top 5 and it's again nothing new that Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin has sustained the 2nd spot rather convincingly as well fetching 3.1 points.

1. Anupamaa

And just like the 2nd spot, the top position also remained unchanged as Anupamaa kept the top spot with all the moolah grabbing 4.1 points.

Udaariyan rocking as usual. The marriage week gonna consolidate it further.

Colors doing good job overall specially with a rocking Evening and Early Evening Slot.

Thapki SSK Udaariyan CS were rocking already and now Sirf Tum opening at 1.7 has given new ray of hope for 8 pm Slot. High time to end Monopoly of Slot leader show which is going in circles since months.

Star Plus TRP Analysis

. I’m completely satisfied with the performance of Anupamaa, GHKPM, Imlie , YRKKH and YHC. In Imlie and YRKKH , the newly introduced male leads Fahmaan Khan and Harshad Chopra both are handsome eye candies.

• Although I’m happy with trp of PANDYA STORE, and happy that it’s the slot leader, I somehow feel it’s got more potential, but sadly it’s not getting any lead from ZMGA

* MHRW bringing the same trp as Molki (although it has a weird slot of 5.30 and the latter has a prime time slot of 10.00) is just commendable.

* SNS2 is bringing decent-ish TRP I’m happy at least it’s the slot leader, but I would really really like if Star Plus shifts it to 7.00 pm slot and replaces it with “Kabhie Kabhie Ittefaque Sayy” at 9.00 pm slot. seeing the success of “thipkyaanchi rangoli” on star Pravah is making me feel that KKIS will be a hit.

• I’m disappointed with the performance of CKMDK, Vidrohi and ZMGA. So I feel that Vidrohi should be shifted to Sundays for an hour (6.00 pm to 7.00pm)
and CKMDK and ZMGA should undergo time slot change, such that CKMDK airs at 1.30 pm and ZMGA airs at 2.00 pm.

• I’m overall happy that Star Plus is the no. 1 channel not only amongst Hindi speaking people, but in entire India.
