TRP Toppers: 'Shakti..' Makes A Surprise Re-entry After Ages; 'Taarak Mehta..' Enters Top 3

Due to the holiday of Ganesh Chaturthi, we have a one-day delay in the TRPs but here we are keeping you up to date. Ending just on the last day of August, the ratings continue to surprise us as ever. With one huge surprise re-entry and a couple of rises, some things did change a lot in the list.

The biggest surprise is the re-entry of Shakti... Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii. The show that has now been on-air over three years has been decent for a long time but has suddenly witnessed a shoot in the numbers this week. With a really good 2.6 points, Shakti is back at the 10th spot.

Choti Sardarni continues to be a surprise package as the show may have been on-and-off the list but is performing really well. This week it goes one spot up to the 9th position with 2.7 points.

Superstar Singer had to perform marginally better than last week in order to sustain its 8th position and in doing so, it grabbed 2.9 points.

Even though a 4 position drop may seem too much, Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke's fll to the 7th position isn't too concerning. It still managed to grab an amazing 2.9 points and may be back in the running in the top list next week.

Just like Yeh Rishtey.., Kumkum Bhagya 's drop to the 6th position isn't at all concerning as in spite of being in the below half, it grabbed a fantastic 3.0 points.

It was unusual to see Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 11 make a rather underwhelming debut last week but it now seems to be on the track of improvement, as the show has risen to the 5th spot also grabbing a great 3.1 points.

The Kapil Sharma Show Season 2 may continue its rise and fall saga every week but for this week, it is back on the rise as the Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor episode raked in good numbers for the show grabbing 3.1 points and the 4th spot.

Even though the entire track of suspense around the NEW Sonu's entry in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah seemed too elongated and a little boring too, it seemed to have clicked with its viewers really well and with that the show has rocketed right up to the 3rd spot with 3.2 points.

Kundali Bhagya continues to play the constant 2nd position contender for several weeks now as the show is still fetching great numbers with 3.4 points and did so again this week.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has now completed over a month (5 weeks in numbers) of being on the top and this is indeed an amazing feat as the show refused to exit the four-point club grabbing exactly 4.0 points.
