In a shocking incident, Akshay Kumar's bodyguard died after falling off from train at Mathura junction on platform number 2.

The deceased, identified as Manoj Sharma, bodyguard of Akshay Kumar was travelling in Karnataka express from Agra Cantonment station. He was run over when he tried to disembark from the moving train.

Reportedly, Manoj who resided in Agra, was a part of the team providing security to Akshay Kumar who has been shooting in Mathura for the past one month for his upcoming film 'Toilet Ek Prem Katha'.

Speaking to TOI, Mukesh Kumar, station officer of GRP Mathura junction said, "At around 8pm, when Karnataka Express was passing by platform number two, Manoj attempted to alight from train which was still moving. He lost his balance and came under its wheels and died on the spot." (sic)

"The body has been handed over to victim's family, who are taking him back to Agra," he added. (sic)

We pray for the departed soul to rest in peace and may God bless the family to bear the loss.

Very sad news...Wish we had sliding doors in the trains, which would open only once the train stops. This kind off freaky accidents are avoidable. People should also have patience, whats the point in rushing n risking ur life.

oh my God!! very sad and scary.RIP to his soul.Such tragedies are scary to hear.One needs to be extremely cautious during boarding and while alighting trains.Heard many such cases in the past too.Strict rules should be passed to avoid such accidents.
