The relationship between the two legendary actresses, Jaya Bachchan and Rekha ji has been under the public eye for the longest time. Each time the two iconic beauties have bumped into each other or spotted together at public events, they have always grabbed eyeballs everywhere!

Recently, an unseen picture of Jaya and Rekha has gone viral on Twitter and fans cannot keep calm! The throwback picture takes fans over the Internet on a memory ride to the days when the two actresses were close friends.

In the photo, while Jaya looks beautiful as ever with minimal makeup, Rekha is seen with her ace winged eyeliner.

Jaya and Rekha shared screen space in Yash Chopra's Silsila (1981), along with Amitabh Bachchan, and after that, the two of them have never worked with each other again. Several decades before, rumours of an extramarital affair between Amitabh and Rekha first began doing the rounds after Silsila director Yash Chopra hinted at the same.
