Actor Ribbhu Mehra says that he likes to spend time with children and also bond with his child co-stars of his show, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.

Talking about the similarities between him and his character Nikhil, Ribbhu said in a statement, "Nikhil is quite similar to Ribbhu Mehra. Like Nikhil, I am quite friendly and would love to offer help to my near and dear ones. I would not think twice if I have to sacrifice a bit for my loved ones.

Like Nikhil, I don't get angry easily until pushed too much. Like Nikhil, even I love kids. I have always enjoyed bonding with them. Even on sets, I learn a lot from Pihu (Ruhanika Dhawan). We ask each other riddles, some GK-based questions. It's fun."

What's up with some of the sexist comments here? She can play whomever the hell she wants, it is a personal choice, get real.

I agree with all here...Bollywood needs to come out of its prepubescent phase.

It's her choice and her opinion of not wanting to play mother to older teenage kids. In the television industry, it's a tiny bit different because actresses who start out in the shows playing 18-20 year olds, after a few years they get the roles of mothers in their 40s. Those actresses may choose to stay or leave but competition in television is just as tough and the content is limiting so maybe they agree to playing mothers to kids their own age. With Juhi, she has had a terrific run in her career but when an actress gets older, the roles they have are somewhat limited. In the end though, I think the strength of the character is important in deciding for a role but some people have other things they look for in a role or look to avoid.

I'm looking forward to seeing her and Madhuri in Gulaab Gang.

Someday we will see Juhi playing Sasuma to Amir or SRK, her old costars with whom she had great chemistry! That will be the day I will die laughing!

BW is so sexist. Old actors some pushing 50 are acting with girls young enough to be their daughter as their love interest. But they approach women the same age or younger than those actors to play mother's to teenagers or 20 something's?? Get real! Good on Juhi for not going for it and resisting the stereo types! I am in my 30's and I would be insulted if someone asked me to play mother to a teenager. My kids are still very small. I don't think Juhi will mind playing Mum to age appropriate kids!!

Juhi looks amazing. So does Madhuri.

I think Juhi, Madhuri, Raveena Tondon are one of those actresses as young and beautiful as they used to look in their times...

Hats off to you ladies! (Yes, no Plastic Surgeries there for sure)

And as far as actors are concerned!
Weren't they always an exception!?
Bollywood has always discriminated btw actors and actresses...

Especially, money wise!

Male dominated industry...not really proud of it!

Your 46 Years old and would not want to play the role of a mother to a 18 years old which is stupid as many young actresses/actors in the TV industry who are well younger then Juhi, in their early 20s play the role of a mother/father to a teenager or an adult and they don't have a problem so then whats Juhis problem. Sometimes the person who is playing the role of a mother/father in reality either they are older, younger or around the same age as their on screen child.
