This Star Plus show achieves the feat of completing 700 episodes!

While Star Plus continues to develop its idea and tagline of 'Nayi Soch' by churning out new shows with unconventional concepts, it also has an array of long runners which continue to be loved by one and all inspite of being on-air for years and years.

From 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' to 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' to 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein', these shows have been a ritual for the viewers for several years and continue to be so.

Amidst all the juggernaut shows, the channel initiated the idea of introducing shows in the evening slot which was a certain risk when it comes to ratings and viewership.

Almost 2 years ago, one of the first shows to be launched in the slot was 'Mere Angne Mein'. A show with an ensemble cast sporting veterans like Krutika Desai, Varun Badola and Suchita Trivedi along with newbies, it had an unusual concept.

And now, 2 years later, the show continues to be going strong inspite of several rumours about the show going off-air.

In fact, the show also achieved the amazing feat of completing 700 episodes recently, and actor Karam Rajpal and Neeraj Malviya chose to celebrate the same with their real life partners, Shivaleeka Oberoi and Charu Asopa respectively -

Against all odds, the show has certainly been going strong turning out to be a success.
