This Star Plus show achieves the feat of completing 700 episodes!

Despite being an underdog show with an unconventional time slot; it is still going strong.

While Star Plus continues to develop its idea and tagline of 'Nayi Soch' by churning out new shows with unconventional concepts, it also has an array of long runners which continue to be loved by one and all inspite of being on-air for years and years.

From 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' to 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' to 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein', these shows have been a ritual for the viewers for several years and continue to be so.

Amidst all the juggernaut shows, the channel initiated the idea of introducing shows in the evening slot which was a certain risk when it comes to ratings and viewership.

Almost 2 years ago, one of the first shows to be launched in the slot was 'Mere Angne Mein'. A show with an ensemble cast sporting veterans like Krutika Desai, Varun Badola and Suchita Trivedi along with newbies, it had an unusual concept.

And now, 2 years later, the show continues to be going strong inspite of several rumours about the show going off-air.

In fact, the show also achieved the amazing feat of completing 700 episodes recently, and actor Karam Rajpal and Neeraj Malviya chose to celebrate the same with their real life partners, Shivaleeka Oberoi and Charu Asopa respectively -

Against all odds, the show has certainly been going strong turning out to be a success.

Love Karam Rajpal lots and lots and lots. He is the soul of the show. Yes, there is news about the show going off air, which I believe it should. After Ekta Kaul's exit, trps have dropped and Shivam-Aarti aren't even getting married. Also, I'm fed up of the negativity spready by Pari and Preeti. What message does this convey??? It's about time the show went off air

The star cast of a starplus show with the role of Kartik and Naira, played by Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi respectively, for the show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai never fail to give us goals. StarPlus always knows when there is need for a change and so brings new concept. Congratulations to team if mere angne mein.

In order to hike the TRPs
1. Get Shivam-Aarti married
2. Make Aarti look gorgeous and transform her into a bit modern bride which is theme of the show
3. Show less Amit Pari scene and concentrate on Shivam-Aarti romance.

Congratulations to all actors and all MAM team.
I must say new entry of Richa brought life in the show, Amma was always the life of this show. story is getting better. Sarla is out so less headache . over all a better progress in the story that now can enjoy it like never b4.
