This is the reason why Ranveer refused to dub for Ryan Reynolds' film

MANY Hollywood films are dubbed in Hindi and in several other regional languages. For it, the Indian producers of the film rope in the leading actors of the industry to lend their voices to the iconic characters. Earlier, we have seen Varun Dhawan lending his voice for Captain America: Civil War and Tiger Shroff for Spider-Man: Homecoming.

And recently, Ranveer Singh was offered for the upcoming superhero film "Deadpool 2" starring Ryan Reynolds to lend his voice for the Hindi dubbed version. However, the talented actor had to decline the offer owing to his busy schedule. Ranveer is busy with the shoot of Gully Boy being helmed by Zoya Akhtar.

The source said a leading tabloid, "Ranveer was extremely keen but he just couldn't make time in his Gully Boy schedule as he is shooting at night every day."

Earlier, when Ryan was asked about the film by the tabloid, he said, "I like to think I'm inherently likeable on screen. So I had to push myself to up the unlikeable factor a few notches. It's sometimes liberating to play a character that doesn't give a damn."

Deadpool 2 is directed by David Leitch and is a sequel to 2016 hit film Deadpool which also starred Ryan in the lead role. It is likely to hit the screens on June 1, 2018, in India.
