This former Sony TV rating TOPPER to make a RETURN

Sony TV, as a channel, has been suffering a lot lately where they have been way down the pile of channels and haven't really come into the main competition. With multiple shows on the channel not fetching even 1 point in terms of ratings, the team is already scratching their heads on what to do as their rating grabber dance reality show, Super Dance Chapter 2 ended over a month ago.

And it seems that they will be going back to what worked best for them, and that is get their record breaking rating topper back with a new season. And as the image above suggests, we are taking about Kaun Banega Crorepati.

The game show, hosted by the legend, Amitabh Bachchan made a return to TV last year for a shorter span unlike everytime, and it was the show's ninth season.

The move turned out to be a jackpot for the channel, as the show would continue topping the rating charts for multiple weeks, even crossing 3 points. There was one moment, where Sony Entertainment Television went on to top the channel ratings too.

So, keeping all this and much more in mind, the makers are planning to get Kaun Banega Crorepati back with a tenth season.

The new season is being planned to go on floors in July and just like last time, Amitabh wants the makers to continue with the shorter season format.
