The list of Star Plus' upcoming shows seems to be never ending. It is now producer Zarna Habib who is working on a project for the channel and has roped in actor Abhishek Singh Pathania to play the lead role.

The project is set to go on floors soon and the casting process has also begun.

Now, according to a news portal, veteran actress, Rita Bhaduri has been roped in to play a pivotal role in the show.

Rita will be playing the grandmother to Abhishek's character and will have an important role in his life.

Rita is best known for her roles in 'Amanat', 'Chhoti Bahu' and most recently in 'Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani'.

We wish the actress all the best for this new venture.
