This Bigg Boss contestant joins the cast of 'Chandrakanta'

Tellybuzz has exclusively received an interesting update about the much-hyped Triangle Production's 'Prem Ya Paheli? - Chandrakanta.' With a promo release yesterday and the gorgeous looking Kritika looking like a million bucks, the show has everything in its bag.

The latest development from the show is that talented Bollywood actor, Puneet Vashist has been roped in for the show. Puneet will be seen playing Virendra's (who is in love with Chandrakanta) advisor, Badrinath.

The character has a very interesting twist of an advisor and magician to it. He will be blessed with the power of being able to impersonate anybody he wishes. 

Puneet has been credited with a prominent role in films like Style and Josh. The actor has a soft heart for television as well, he spoke to us and said, "I have come back to television after nearly four years. I am working very hard for the character and am very excited to play the character which was played by ace actor Irrfan Khan, back in the first Chandrakanta television series. It brings in a big responsibility as well."

He also added that he is very excited to work with Sudesh Berry, the king in the show, to whom Puneet is playing an advisor to. He also informed that this is the first time that he will be working with him and how he is looking forward to it.

Puneet got nostalgic while sharing how Chandrakanta is so special to him because back in 90's in the first series, his father had played a part in the show.

The show has already garnered many eyeballs around. We hope Puneet's character brings in a mark in the tale.
