Chhaya Vora who is currently seen as Kirtida in Mahima Makwana and Akshit Sukhija starrer Shubharambh shares that she has no qualms in being typecast.

Chhaya who has been a well known face in Gujarati theatre tells, "We play the same character for a particular play again and again for different audiences. But that doesn't mean we play the same character the same way, we improvise the character after every show, bringing in different variations of how it can be better portrayed."

When asked if she fears being typecast, she said, "There shouldn't be fear of getting typecast, as long as you can convey the emotions and perform well. But ladies my age generally get similar roles of a mother or a mother-in-law with slight character variations. Maybe it’s because of the overall concepts or our age. Rarely do we get a chance to play something different from the 'slice of life' characters given to us - like in Mijaaj, where I got to play an older woman (age of 60) who followed Gandhian philosophies and stood by them for a cause."
