"There is a filter to the taboo topics on TV which makes it easier to watch it with family" - Avantika Hundal

Having recently made a comeback to TV after almost three years, actor Avantika Hundal is raking in a lot of love and appreciation for her negative character of Prisha in Mose Chhal Kiye Jaaye. We had the actor getting into an exclusive conversation with us where she earlier talked about her role, as to why did she stay away from the small screen for such a long time and other things.

Hundal has been a key member of the TV industry and hence has seen the content and the way the entertainment industry functions in general. Hence, when we asked her as to what is her view of TV and the content it is presenting right now.

It is great that that even those (taboo) topics are done and explored in a way that you can still sit with your family and watch it.

To this, Hundal answered, "The content on TV has definitely evolved a lot, I would say. There are a lot of concepts and topics that were considered taboo in the past and weren't even thought of - are now being made and explored by makers as a mainstream show. It is great that that even those topics are done and explored in a way that you can still sit with your family and watch it. That is the thing I feel which is different about TV as opposed to web as there is a certain filter. So, it is nice to touch social topics but still watch it with your family. That is amazing to witness."

Avantika Hundal made waves with her role in the Star Plus longrunner, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein while she is now on Mose Chhal Kiye Jaaye. The actor also has a strong social media presence as well.
