The unit of Ali Baba- Dastaan-e-Kabul returns to original set confirms Sayantani Ghosh

Confirming the news to leading portal, Sayantani Ghosh, who plays the antagonist, Simsim, in the show, says returning to the original set is not easy but its a need.

SAB TV's Ali Baba- Dastaan-e-Kabul has returned to their original set after 24 days. The set was sealed after lead actress Tunisha Sharma reportedly died by suicide in a make-up room on December 24. 

Confirming the news to leading portal, Sayantani Ghosh, who plays the antagonist, Simsim, in the show, says returning to the original set is not easy but its a need. She even added that she was not prepared to shoot back on the original set. It was very difficult to cope with what has happened. The whole unit misses Tunisha.

Sayantani even mentioned that she understands returning to the old set was required because the show was suffering. Producers of the show tried their level best to maintain the show as much they can but now scene required for them to go back 

The make-up rooms used by Tunisha and Sheezan Khan (the original male lead of the show, who was arrested for abatement to suicide in Tunisha’s case and is currently in judicial custody) have been cordoned off.

The production house has taken every measure possible to make the actors feel comfortable- and create an atmosphere of positivity. They have freshly painted the set in white, added more lights and hung new paintings. They even performed Puja before starting the shoot.

The actress is going through lot of emotions but she feels the show must go on as many people livelihood is dependent on the show.
