The TRP's shot up on the day my entry was telecast on Neeli Chatri Wale - Prachi Kowli Thakker

While people call the lady's return to television with Zee TV's Neeli Chatri Wale as her 'comeback' on television, Prachi clarifies on how she was actively a part of the industry, and her experience shooting for a television show after a long time.

Prachi stated, "I was always active shooting for ad films and commercials. I was not keen on taking up a television show only because of my son as I chose to work under projects such as commercials and ad films which allowed me enough personal time as well. Now that my son is 10 years old, I am back with Neeli Chatri Wale."

Elaborating on her experience shooting with Neeli Chatri Wale, Prachi mentioned of how she works for 25 days in a month which makes it difficult to spare time for her family.

She averred, "Well, I am finding it a little hectic but I have my mother to take care of my son and I am blessed with an extremely understanding husband (Pankit Thakker) who is also an actor. And it is because of them that I am being able to manage things well at home and on the professional front."

Speaking about her experience shooting with the cast of Neeli Chatri Wale, Prachi stated, "I am extremely delighted with the kind of response the show is generating. Joining in as a new entrant on a show which is a hit was challenging as it is difficult to match up to the way the characters have grown on the show from the beginning. But the TRP's shot up on the day my entry was telecasted which shows that people are happy to have me back."

"I took up this show because it is a light hearted comedy drama and secondly because my role was refreshing. I have never essayed a light hearted role before. The entire cast has been very supportive and so is the entire production team. I am very comfortable working with Ashwini Dheer as he makes sure the work environment is pleasant and positive." she added.

With this, we asked the beauty if we would see her in serious drama ever?

She added, "Yes definitely. If I get a good role, I will take it up!"
