The most-watched shows on Alt Balaji in 2021

India’s homegrown digital platform ALTBalaji delivered on all counts in the year 2021. There were a varied bunch of shows to suit every users viewing palate including fresh originals along with some new seasons of the older ones that they connected with. And while you’re watching the shows on ALTBalaji, we, too, have a keen eye on just what you as viewers enjoy watching the most. So, as we waltz into the new year, here’s taking a look at what India loved to watch the past year.

Most watched shows:

1.       Broken But Beautiful Season 3

The romantic web series reprised its third season with the unforgettable Sidharth Shukla and the very beautiful and Sonia Rathee. Their chemistry together as Agastya and Rumi became the talk of the town and was on the top as the most watched series on ALTBalaji

2.       Bekaaboo 2

The thrilling saga Bekaboo reigned supreme with its second season as viewers loved the chills on offer. This time it was Rajeev Siddhartha as Kiyan Roy the novelist whose ideal life turning completely around on its head as he juggled the loves of his life and looks for the thrill in pain.

3.       The Married Woman

The drama on urban relationships with two married women Ridhi Dogra aka Astha and and Monika Dogra aka Peeplika and their journey of self-discovery was much loved by viewers. 

4.       Puncch Beat Season 2

A sequel to the youth boxing drama, centered around a murder mystery starring Priyank Sharma, Sidharth Sharma and Khushi Joshi took the nation by storm and was a raging hit

5.       Cartel

This was a crime series like the viewers have never seen before as the Angre family battled other mafioso around them and struggled to maintain the status quo. A stellar cast comprising 138 actors with the likes of Rithvik Dhanjani, Tanuj Virwani, Jitendra Joshi, Supriya Pathak and Monica Dogra did a marvellous job of bringing this crime drama to life on a never-before-seen scale on OTT.
