Back in the 80s, when younger, my parents befriended a Kashmiri family who used to talk about the pressures they faced as a minority when living in Kashmir. I was a teenager and a little distracted to fully comprehend the stuff they described. After what happened there in 1990, I've always wondered how they fared out? This movie brought memories of that family right back to me.
