The epic saga 'Naagarjun' confirms another ENTRY!

The upcoming show, 'Naagarjun' has been in the news for a long time now. The promo of the show was launched recently and it evidently portrays how ambitious and mammoth this project is.

The show has roped in stalwart actors like Nawab Shah, Nikitin Dheer, Mrunal Jain and Keerti Nagpure among others for pivotal roles in the show.

Now, joining the bandwagon is another veteran actress who has wowed the audience earlier with her performances in shows like 'Aise Karo Naa Vidaa', 'Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli' and 'Everest' among many more. It is none other than actress, Kishori Shahane.

We contacted Kishori, who confirmed saying, "Yes, I am a part of 'Naagarjun' and am really excited about my character. I play a Naag devi, who is very powerful and is also the mother of Nikitin Dheer's character. The best part is that I love getting decorated and decked up, so playing such a character automatically fulfils that (laughs)."

We asked her whether her character will be a positive one or will it have grey shades, to which she said, "It is currently written as a positive character, who is very illustrious and powerful."

On what prompted her to take up this character, Kishori said, "My last fiction show was 'Everest' for Ashutosh Gowariker, after which, I was busy with Ashutosh's film, 'Mohen-Jo-Daro' and a Hollywood film with Duane Adler. I really wanted to get back to television with a powerful role and was waiting for the right one. When 'Naagarjun' came up, it was perfect, as not only is the role powerful, but the show's scale is also enormous. I am really excited and looking forward to it."
