The Celebration of 10 Women Dreamers with 'Girl In The City Chapter 2' Fashion Show!

bindass, Castrol Activ Scooter and fashion designer Nishka Lulla's first-of-its-kind collaboration for Girl in The City Chapter 2 to celebrate women dreamers was successfully wrapped up with a fashion show recently. Along with Mithila Palkar, who plays the protagonist in the bindass series, 10 inspiring women walked the ramp in specially-designed creations by Lulla. This unique fashion show will be part of Girl in the City Chapter 2 special episode to be streamed on bindass' social media platforms on 23rd June, 6:00pm 2017.

The highlight of the evening was bringing together 10 young, relentless women who are making a difference across fields such as culinary art, travel, clinical therapy and much more. The women who walked the ramp included Priyanka Nagre, Mitali Meelan, Garima Dixit, Simran, Geeta Gajelli, Chinmayee Rane, Diksha Nisha and Hemangi Vyawahare from Mumbai, Garima Pande Kalia, and Anoushka Saha from Kolkata.

These dreamers were selected through a unique online contest. Keeping in tune with Girl In The City series, which revolves around a young designer's journey from Dehradun to Mumbai to follow her professional passion, bindass launched an online contest inviting women entrepreneurs to share their personal journey in a pursuit of their dreams. The contest went live across bindass' social media platforms in April and participants were asked to send in entries describing the efforts that the women are putting into pursue their dreams and passion.

Women from across India representing different walks of life sent in their stories, out of which 10 inspiring women were selected to become part of the unique fashion show. Post which, popular designer Lulla met the 10 dreamers to profile their personality traits and incorporate their unique stories in the outfits for the fashion show.
