The cast of Khwaabon Ki Zamin Par enjoys their on-location Lucknowi delicacies!!

Lucknow is famous for Lucknowi suits, jewelry, shayaris, and delicious kebabs. No trip to this beautiful city is complete without relishing the street food. It's a foodie's paradise and Megha Chakraborty, a self-confessed foodie, who plays Niyati in 'Khwaabon Ki Zamin Par' that airs on Zindagi, absolutely enjoyed the local food while shooting on location in the famous city of Nawabs. Your favorite Zindagi, show which currently airs at 10PM will be telecast at 11pm every Monday-Saturday starting from 19th December 2016.

Zindagi is known for showcasing realistic dramas and to add depth and authenticity to each show, the cast and crew shoot in real locations. The channel's recently launched prime-time show, Khwaabon Ki Zamin Par, which too, is shot in the real locations of Lucknow and one can see glimpses of Meena Bazaar, Rumi Gate, and many other popular locations as the main protagonists' of the show are residing in the city. Recently, post wrapping the shoot in Lucknow the lead cast, Megha Chakraborty, Ashish Kadian, along with other co-actors explored the city and savoured different kebabs and Awadhi delicacies like Galouti Kababs, Tundey Kababs, Malai Ki Gilori, Lucknowi Biryani, Tokri Chaat and Sheermals.

Talking about her experience, Megha Chakraborty a.k.a. Niyati said, "Being a foodie, I love trying different cuisines. I had a great time shooting in Lucknow and it was fun savouring the street food in the different bylanes of the city. We tried many different kinds of kebabs and Awadhi delicacies. But my absolute favourite was Tundey kebabs. I loved them so much that on the day, we were returning to Mumbai, I packed a few boxes of Tundey kebabs for myself and to share with friends."

Produced by Anupam Kher's production company - Actor Prepares, Khwaabon Ki 'Zamin Par' is the story of a 24-year-old boy, Arya Kashyap (Ashish Kadian) who leaves behind his girlfriend, Niyati Bajpayee (Megha Chakraborty), and his family in Lucknow to come to Bombay to fulfil his dream of becoming a Bollywood star! Will he choose his love or dreams?
