The Cast of C.I.D. Reunite For an Upcoming Show

Sony TV’s longest running coveted crime thriller series C.I.D. had a special place in everyone’s hearts. Though since the last few years, the show lost its charm but it sure has entertained audience for more than two decades. When the show finally went off air a few months ago, people had mixed reactions about it going off air, as an entire generation of 90s grew up watching the show.

Well, when the show went off air, there were rumors of the next season of the show being worked upon, though no confirmation on the news came from either the makers or the actors. Now, latest news that we hear is that the cast of C.I.D. might soon reunite for a show to be aired on Dangal TV. According to reports, some members of the team will reunite for a brand new show produced by Cut-to-Cut Productions which will likely be a cop drama that will include some personal stories too. Actors who are said to be in talks for the show are Dayanand Shetty (Daya), Aditya Srivastava (Abhijeet) and Ansha Sayed, who will drive the show on their shoulders. Aditya also confirmed doing the show will a leading news portal but didn’t divulge into much details.

Well, we will certainly miss Shivaji Satam (ACP Pradyuman) because without him the cast feels incomplete.
