THE BIG SWITCH: Namik Paul to Play New Lead in Kavach 2; Varun Toorkey to step in his shoes in KZK2

Recently we reported about a major development in Star Plus' popular show Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, wherein we informed that the handsome lad Namik Paul is all set to enter the show and will play the third wheel between Anuraag (Parth Samthaan) and Prerna (Erica Fernandes). This news had everyone excited about his character and his entry in the show. But, according to the latest reports, Namik won't be a part of the show as he has been finalized to play the male lead in Deepika Singh starrer Kavach 2.

As per sources, there has been some misunderstanding and Namik will not be playing the new man in Anuraag and Prerna's lives, instead he will be seen romancing Deepika in the second season of the hit supernatural series Kavach.

As reported earlier, Kundali Bhagya actor Vin Rana has been roped in by the makers to play the lead antagonist in Kavach 2, ad with Namik being finalized to play the male lead, it would be interesting to see the fresh pair and their on-screen chemistry.

The handsome hunk Namik has earlier been a part of shows like Ek Duje Ke Vaaste and Ek Deewana Tha. Interestingly, in a recent interview with an entertainment portal, Namik had said that he was trying to avoid the supernatural genre as he didn't want to get typecasted.

According to media reports, actor Varun Toorkey has been finalized for the part. Earlier he was said to play the male lead in Kavach 2 but seems like the two actors have been swapped in the shows.
