The 'Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant' team paid a special TRIBUTE for 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi'..!

In today's times, we may talk about progressive television viewing and the fact that we need it desperately. As much as true it is, we cannot deny that saas-bahu sagas form a definite and important part of out television history.

Not only did the show became a huge hit, but this style of title track introduction too became iconic. And the cast of 'Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant' totally nailed it.

We contacted Ridhima Pandit, as to who and how did this idea pop up, to which she said, "It was totally an impromptu decision. Just like Rajni is all about enacting different shades, so in the current track, I am playing a Gujarati lady, so I had put on this whole Gujarati look. So, everyone on the set complimented me about how Gujarati I am looking. And then Mehul Nisar aka Gyaan complimented me about how Tulsi am I looking. So, then, together, we came up with idea of shooting the iconic 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' title track in the same way it was shot. We proposed the idea to our fellow cast mates and they were up for it immediately. So, we went ahead and shot the video in one take. The funny thing is we were looking for a reference on internet and we couldn't find it. Still, our memories are so strong about the show that we did not need it."

She added, "It became the perfect cherry on top when Ekta Kapoor posted the video on her instagram page and applauded it. I had a message chat with her too where she mentioned how much she loved it."
