The Alcohol trend of Bollywood!

The relationship of alcohol or we can say Sharab and Bollywood can be traced back from the yester years! The songs like 'thodi si jo peeli hai', 'Mujhe peene ka shauk nahi', 'Daru ke Botal mein', are some epic songs which tells us that sharab is one of the important elements of Bollywood.

Now let's skip everything and come to the current movie songs. In recent times the influence of alcohol on Bollywood music lyrics can be been quite dominant.

Let's checkout songs which are fully based on alcohol!

It all started with 'Ek Glassy' by Hard Kaur! The song was on top of the charts and set a trend of Alcohol songs! Chaar baj gaye another by Hard Kaur which was a big hit! Though the film was average at the box office!

Char botal vodka by Honey Singh was a Smashing Hit! Each and every party was incomplete without this song being played! Even this movie was a dud. Ragini MMS 2!

Rum - whiskey, a song from Ayushmann Khurrana's debut film, Vicky Donor. The song portrayed a Punjabi wedding ceremony. A wedding celebration without alcohol is not possible for Punjabis! Or so is portrayed in our films. The film was a hit and all its song too!

Main Sharabi from Cocktail, the song was loved by everyone just because it was trending! Music was mediocre, but still it was a hit, thanks to the clubbing youngsters. Daru desi again from Cocktail!  Actually the whole movie was based on alcoholism, if you look at it that way!

Humka peene hai! The trend even made our superstar Salman Khan to make song based on alcohol. With his Robinhood Pandey style he rocked in this song! It's a Salman's song; it has to be a whooping hit, though the song was good indeed.

ABCD song from the movie Yaariyan! 'D se daaru peete jao!' Bollywood is spoiling youngsters or it's just a song?

Me Alcoholic Hu from the movie The Shaukeens, the fittest of person of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar, also followed the trend and appeared in this song!

Johnny Johnny from the movie Entertainment. Again Akshay Kumar, the movie was an average box office gainer.  The story of the film revolves around a dog named entertainment! New concept, but failed!

Party all night - Boss! Now it's a party, then alcohol is must! Another one by Akshay Kumar, seems Akki loved the trend a lot!

Tanki hai hum from movie Youngistaan. The song and movie both were a boring..! But still, another song they gave us to add in our list. Thanks for that Youngistaan team.

Sooraj Dooba hai: 'Do ghoot nashe ke maaro' to forget all the 'gum' in life! That's what this song says! What's wrong with the Indian song lyricists? The film was flop; except the girls liked the movie just because of Ranbir Kapoor and boys liked the movie because of Jacqueline Fernandes!

Lalla lalla lori: Jackky Bhagnani and Arshad Warsi starrer Welcome 2 Karachi converted the lori into a Sharab song! Daru ki Katori! Setting new trend, instead of glass use katori!

We always followed Bollywood, their style and everything else but about this thing, a big NO! Go drink Nimbu pani or narayal pani! Detoxify for a bit.

Let's be honest, a majority of the bollywood songs nowadays make no sense. Once in a blue moon we'll get a decent romantic song that makes sense then a string of totally [insert swear word] up songs.

My prayers are with the lyricists in bollywood. May thou brains rest in peace. Amen.
