From Parichay to Waaris to her stint on Bigg Boss season 13 which saw her as a top 5 contender on the show, Arti Singh has proved her versitality as an actor and a performer on Indian Television.
Experiencing the best of both worlds from fiction to the reality show space, Arti has gained a lot of exposure from her experiences on various genres of television which she is thankful for.
On world television day, Arti speaks about the roles that helped her enhance her abilities as an actor on the silver screen."Television gave me a platform to showcase my passion for acting, which I am truly grateful for! Being a part of a medium like television opened up so many opportunities for me where I got a chance to explore various characters, and the reality space where I got to show people who I am as a person. So being a part of the television industry has always felt like home for me. Portraying the role of a mother on Waaris has till date been the most challenging character I have played on screen. The role was complicated and took a lot of effort for me to get into the skin of my character and understand her mindset, but it was that one role which brought out the true actor in me, it helped me build on myself as an actor and the amount of fun I had playing such an immensely challenging role was what made my connection with television even stronger".
"The amount of love, appreciation and recognition you receive by being part of a TV show is unlike any other platform. TV is a household medium, so by default we actors on television become household names, and I feel that the kind that is built with an audience who watches daily soaps is truly amazing! Television has always given me scope to experience the best of characters and shows that I have been a part of till date and this medium is one I plan to explore to the best I can", says Arti.
