Tapeshwari Sharma to quit Sasuraal Genda Phool!

Every actor dreams of being in the shoes of the lead and our Tapeshwari Sharma is no different. Better known for playing Sanjana of Star Plus' Sasural Genda Phool for almost 2 years, the actress now wants to try out other opportunities in the industry.

A little birdie chirps, "Tapeshwari Sharma has already put in her papers and is just waiting for her replacement so that she can finally bid adieu to the show."

When contacted, she says, "Yes, I am just serving the last few days until the production gets a replacement. I want to step back and find other opportunities."

So what is the reason for opting out? "Well, I've been doing this show for almost 2 years now. But I want to do lead roles as well," she shares.

On asked whether there was already another show in the pipeline she retorts, "No, nothing is in the pipeline. I am open to new roles now."

Who comes in as Sanjana is something to wait and watch!
