Tanya Sharma of 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' Fame To Be Seen In a Short Film

Actress Tanya Sharma shot to instant fame owing to her role as Meera in Star Plus' long-runner, Saath Nibhana Saathiya. And even though the actress hasn't been too frequent with her TV projects post-Saathiya and except Udaan, she has certainly been a part of several other projects on several other mediums,

From shoots to music videos and currently has her own YouTube channel, Sharma has now bagged yet another project in the form of a short film. According to reports, Sharma is all set to be the leading lady in an upcoming short film titled Sirat. And playing the male lead opposite Sharma is Piyush Sharma, who is best known as the current contestant in MTV's Splitsvilla X2.

It is being said that the actors have wrapped up the shoot. The project is directed by Sachin Gupta, who has earlier directed films like Paranthe Wali Gali, Thoda Lutf Thoda Ishq, Pakhi amongst others. The casting has been done by Casting Director Nikhil Vijay Kumar Malhotra.

The makers are still contemplating whether to premier the short film on MX Player or Hungama application.
