Kangana Ranaut is an avid social media user and she often expresses her views of subjects that grab her attention. While the controversy around Tandav is taking off, Kangana has yet again stepped into the scenario and expressed her views about the same.
However, the Queen actress opposed the content of the web series and asserted that the makers should be put in jail, not just for criminal intentions but also for torturing the viewer.
Taking to her Twitter handle, Kangana shared a video of Kapil Mishra wherein he said that he has sent a legal notice to Amazon Prime Video demanding the immediate removal of 'Tandav' from its platform.
"The problem isn’t just the Hindu phobic content, it’s also creatively poor and deprived,atrocious and objectionable on every level hence deliberately placed controversial scenes. Put them in jail not just for criminal intentions but also for torturing the viewer #tandavwebseries,” wrote Kangana Ranaut.

Taking the cognizance of complaints that Hindu gods and goddesses have been ridiculed in web series ‘Tandav’, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on Sunday sought an explanation from the Amazon Prime Video officials, reported ANI.
On the other hand #BanTandavNow has been trending on Twitter with netizens demanding a ban with immediate legal action.
Saif Ali Khan headlines the web-show as the powerful and quick-witted Samar Pratap Singh, while Dimple Kapadia essays the role of Anuradha Kishore. Dimple Kapadia, who made her digital debut in the series, makes a very robust comeback on-screens. Her charismatic character and female gaze in the show make her a sight to behold.
The political espionage boasts of a gripping storyline alongside its star-studded cast lineup- one eclectic and talented set of performers. With such factors in play, Tandav is touted as the biggest web series of 2021.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the 9-episode political drama was released on Amazon Prime Video on 15th January.
