“Tamil ya Telugu mein baat karun?,” Taapsee’s Savage reply when asked to speak in Hindi!

Taapsee Pannu has always been mindful of her words are from voicing out her opinions she has always stood for empowerment for the right cause. She is never afraid of speaking her mind and if someone forgets their limits Taapsee makes sure to remind them about the same with the most savage reply.

Recently, Taapsee was seen attending the 50th edition of International Film Festival of India 2019 (IFFI) and during her interaction at the session called 'Women in Lead' when a man interrupted her and asked her to speak in Hindi.

The man requested her saying: “Taapsee, thoda Hindi mein bolo kyunki Hindi filmein aap karti ho.”

To which she politely, Taapse replied, “Main to poora Hindi mein baat kar sakti hoon.” Then, she asked the crowd present if everyone could understand Hindi. Many people responded with a no. 

After this, the man again questioned why a Hindi film actress was speaking in English. Now, Taapsee had the most epic reply with a massive burn! 

She said, “I’m a South Indian actress also. Tamil ya Telugu mein baat karun?” This received a loud cheer from the audience.
