It was mentioned that Disha is suffering from throat cancer because of her character Dayaben’s peculiar voice in the show.

Clearing the rumour about the same, Disha Vakani brother Mayur Vakani spoke to leading portal and rubbished the news. He told that there are so many rumours that keep going around Disha and there is no truth to it. Everyday, there is a baseless rumour about her which fan should not believe. He even mentioned that Disha is healthy and fine.

Disha Vakani aka Dayaben is one of the most loved characters of Indian Television. The actress has been on a break since 2017. She is recently blessed with a baby boy. She took break from the show due to her pregnancy and delivered a baby girl in 2017.
