Taapsee says 'Bas Yehi Need Of The Hour Hai' as Delhi Police files FIR against Greta Thunberg

It is rather fascinating how global figures like Greta Thunberg and Rihanna have come forward to express their support in the ongoing farmer's protests and this has been received with 'weird' responses by many Indians.

While everyone has their own take to this saga, the fact that some people are actually making complaints and filing FIRs against them is perplexing yet unbelievable to think of.

A report in India Today stated that an FIR has been filed by Delhi police against Greta Thunberg for her tweet on farmers’ protest which allegedly promotes enmity. Reportedly, the charges that the FIR lists are those of conspiracy and ‘promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language and acts prejudicial to maintenance of harmony.’

Looking at this, actor Taapsee Pannu reacted to this with sarcasm saying, “bas yehi need of the hour hai”. That’s not it, many Bollywood celebs reacted to the same and seemed very surprised with the development.
