Taapsee is too excited to perform PM Modi’s new Task: Hits back with Sarcasm!

The coronavirus outbreak has put several countries in trouble and owing to the difficult crisis faced by India, our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a special message for his fans. Recently, he addressed the nation talking about the deadly virus and urged people to gather together for a unique exercise on April 5 at 9 pm to show they were together in the fight against coronavirus.

To everyone's surprise, he has asked the citizens to switch off lights for nine minutes and light candles and diyas instead.

While his followers were in awe of the new task, even Taapsee Pannu extended her support. However, she was being extremely sarcastic. Taking to her twitter handle, she wrote: “New task is here! Yay yay yayy!!!” Her tweet received more than 1.3K replied in under an hour, most of which are trolling her for her reaction.

For the unversed, PM Modi in his speech said that, “On this Sunday, April 5, we will challenge the darkness of coronavirus threat together. On April 5, at 9 pm, I need your 9 minutes. At 9 pm, turn off all the lights in your houses and light a Diya, candle, torch or flashlight for 9 minutes at your doors, or balcony.”

He further stated that it would send out a message among the 130 crore Indians symbolizing that they are not alone in this fight against the deadly infection.

Meanwhile, a few Bollywood celebrities have extended their support for the same and welcomed the initiative.
