Sushmita Sen wishes Renee on her 20th birthday with an Emotional message!

Bollywood actress and former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen has always been an inspiration for those around her. The actress had decided on adopting a daughter in her 20’s when she was at the peek of her career. Even though her decision was frowned upon by many at that point, today she has become a role model for many women. She proved to the society that women don’t need a man to complete her family and have kids and provide for all of them.

It’s been 20 years since the 43-year-old actress adopted Renee, and today on the occasion of her elder daughter’s birthday Sushmita took to her official social media handle and not only did she share her 20-year-old’s beautiful photos, but also wrote an emotional note. 

She wrote, “The first one to ever call me Maa...a long & tough labour before she was born from my heart!!! Renee is currently studying in London and has a love for music. It seems she wants to enter the entertainment industry but has to finish her studies first. The Sen Family, Sushmita and her two daughters Renee and Alisah, are busy vacationing in Maldives along with celebrating the birthdays of the kids. 

It was, in fact, Alisah's birthday six days back. While wishing her 10-year-old daughter, the Main Hoon Na actress wrote, “We enter double digits!!!! Happppyyyyy 10th Birthday to the love of my life!!! May God bless this gift called ‘Alisah’ with the best of health, happiness & the courage to be more of herself!!! I love you my Shona Maa!!! We are 10!!!! yessssssss!!! #duggadugga I love you guys!!!!”

In a recent interview to Rajeev Masand, she revealed how she took a step back from her career after Alisah's arrival as she wanted to give them time. However, she said that she would take Renee with her on the sets when she was small. She spoke about how David Dhawan would pamper her while she shot for Biwi No.1. She is now keen to make a comeback.
