Sushmita Sen shares a sunkissed selfie on turning 47: The most incredible year is on its way

Sushmita Sen is one of the most looked upon and loved actresses. Despite of being absent from the silver screen, she has made a place for herself in the hearts of her fans. Her last stint in the web show Aarya is something people still talk about and Sen was highly lauded for her immaculate performance. Not only this, but she had been in the limelight owing to her personal life as well. 

Today the former Miss Universe is celebrating her 47th birthday today. While social media is filled with wishes and greetings for her, the actress took to her social media and penned a sweet note for herself while sharing a sun kissed selfie.

Sen could be seen basking in the sunlight with her sunglasses on as she posed for the camera. Sharing the picture, she wrote "47 finally!!! A few days ago, Sushmita Sen shared the first look poster of her upcoming project titled 'Taali'. It is touted to be a biographical drama series wherein Sen will be seen portraying transgender activist Gauri Sawant.

Taali will shed light on Gauri's historic life, including her early years, gender transition, and role in India's groundbreaking transgender movement. Produced by Arjun Singgh Baran, Kartk D Nishandar, and Afeefa Nadiadwala, the series is directed by national award-winning filmmaker Ravi Jadhav.
