Sushant Singh Rajput breathed his last on June 14, 2020. The actor died an untimely death by hanging himself from the ceiling fan of his residence in Bandra, Mumbai. His death came as a big shocker for everyone and left everyone with one big question; 'Why did you do it Sushant?' When everything looked perfect, what went wrong?
The prima facie revealed it to be a clear case of suicide when the Police arrived at Sushant's residence. They then sent his body to Dr RN Cooper Municipal General Hospital in Mumbai for post-mortem on Sunday.
The Cooper Hospital released an advance certificate on Monday after conducting post-mortem on Sushant and cited asphyxia due to hanging as the cause of his death in the report. The autopsy report has said prima facie it has been found that it is a case of suicide. His viscera samples have been preserved for chemical analysis and will be sent to the forensic science laboratory.
After the first autopsy, the doctors at Cooper Hospital sent Sushant's organs to JJ Hospital for analysis to check any poisonous substance in the organs.
As per initial reports from the police, Sushant was suffering from depression for the past six months.
While the autopsy report of the late 34-year-old actor states that he died due to asphyxia which is caused by hanging oneself, there were various reports that stated he was forced to take this drastic step due to professional rivalry and many Bollywood Biggies names have come up who are being held responsible for his mental condition.
Now, the Home Minister of Maharashtra, Anil Deshmukh has made an important announcement related to Sushant's suicide case. His statement reads:
While the post mortem report says actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide by hanging himself, there are media reports that he allegedly suffered from clinical depression because of professional rivalry. Mumbai Police will probe this angle too.-
